Nuke’s node graph also now shows which nodes have been localised or are in the process of being localised, and whether a localised file is out of date. Users can now set Nuke only to check for updates to localised files only when manually prompted to do so, either as a global preference, or on a per-node basis. The file localisation system, used to cache files used in projects locally rather than reading them off a remote server, has also been updated to provide “more granular control” of the process. The new Profile node displays performance data, including CPU and memory usage, from all of the nodes upstream of itself, making it easier to identify and resolve any bottlenecks within a script.ĭata can be exported in CSV or XML format, and can then be viewed inside Nuke by other users without the need to load the original project. New Profile node helps users spot performance bottlenecks in scripts visuallyįeatures common to all three Nuke products include new tools for performance-profiling scripts directly within the software’s user interface.
Nuke Studio also gets a new workflow for handling source clips more consistent with that of Nuke itself. Foundry has released Nuke, NukeX and Nuke Studio 11.1, the latest versions of its family of compositing products, adding new visual tools for troubleshooting scripts, and more control over file localisation.
